Vector Horizontal Resources, LLC has commenced reworking the Torch oil field in Zavala County, Texas.
We have 3 up-hole pay zones that can be reworked in 10 of the wells and 3 that will be reactivated with new equipment into production.
Vector Horizontal Resources owns a double-triple work over rig, power swivel and power unit, and a pipe trailer for work on the Torch
Field. Additional expertise and technology will be utilized in the ongoing development of this field.
Mr. McCabe has over forty years of experience in the petroleum industry in executive management, financial and corporate development capacity and has been an independent investor and operator in oil and gas since 1975.
From 1989 until 2006, Mr. McCabe was responsible for the development of many novel tools and techniques for short radius horizontal drilling, some of which were patented. Mr. McCabe has worked to acquire, develop and commercially use short radius horizontal drilling technology through companies he helped found, including, Horizontal Systems Inc., Directional Drilling Systems, Inc., Sidewinder Tools Corporation and Vector Drilling Company.
Mr. McCabe continues to be a registered operator in Texas where he has drilled over 100 successful producing oil and gas wells. In 2005 Mr. McCabe formed Diamond Energy Services, LLC, an oil field service and work over rig provider with its base of operations located in Moore, Texas. Diamond currently has 7 rigs servicing both small and large E&P Companies in South and West Texas. Mr. McCabe graduated from Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas in 1967 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He served as a helicopter pilot in the United States Marine Corps from 1965 through 1973.
Mr. LaPrade has over 34 years' experience in the oil and gas business. Since 1990 he has been actively involved in the development and commercialization of Ultra Short Radius Horizontal Drilling. Over the years, he has planned and supervised the drilling of more than 300 wells worldwide, including the US, Oman, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Gabon, Indonesia, and Myanmar with his company, USR Drilling.
He has published numerous articles concerning the capabilities and success of USR Drilling and
made presentations before dozens of organizations worldwide concerning its application. He has owned and operated oil and gas properties in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas comprising more than 100 wells
Mr. Morgan is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Marketing and Finance. He has developed over $150 million of commercial projects in Florida and co-founded a financial service company that went public on the small cap NASDAQ exchange.
In addition, Mr. Morgan developed an energy trading company which was acquired by a larger entity that uses this system to trade energy markets to this day. His knowledge of capital markets aids Vector in its ability to finance acquisitions and develop projects.
Experienced oil field operator with 20+ years' experience in both offshore and land operations
throughout the state of Texas extending to offshore operations in the Gulf of Mexico. He began his
career in 1982 as a floor hand on a workover rig for Dawson Well Service. He served as a rig
supervisor beginning in 1986. He is experienced in drilling and completing wells throughout Texas
and in deep water wells off the Texas coast. He has extensive downhole experience in logging,
perforating and fracking of oil and gas wells in addition to extensive safety training supervision
experience. He has served as field manager for three exploration and production companies, most
recently on a 7,200-acre field with 300 producing wells.
Mr. Franklin has 53 years of petroleum industry experience and heads Vectors geological department. He began his career as an offshore production geologist for Gulf Oil Company in 1969, in Morgan City, Louisiana. In 1973, he joined Tenneco Oil Company's Pacific Coast Division in Bakersfield, California and was involved with three oil discoveries in California's San Joaquin Basin, with ultimate reserves of over 150 million barrels. He was promoted to Division Geologist and Division Geological Engineer. In 1982, Mr. Franklin became Exploration Manager for Tenneco's Southwest Division (West Texas and New Mexico), where he directed exploration programs resulting in discoveries of several hundred billion cubic feet of gas.
In 1987, he became the Division Manager for the Tenneco unit. The Southwestern Division discovered more reserves than it produced (RIP> 1) for 8 continuous years. Following the sale of Tenneco Oil Company in 1988, Mr. Franklin became Division Manager of the South Texas Division for Fina Oil and Chemical Company. That group discovered several hundred billion cubic feet of gas while redeveloping the Slick Ranch, McAllen Ranch and McAllen-Pharr fields. Daily production of the South Texas Division increased from approximately 40 million cubic feet per day to 200 million cubic feet of gas per day. Following Fina's 1993 structural reorganization, Mr. Franklin became General Manager of Exploration for North America. In this capacity, he directed activity and projects in most of the productive U.S. basins, including the Alaskan North Slope, as well as the Canadian Foothills/Alberta Basin. Fina was an active explorer of the shelf and deepwater regions of the Gulf of Mexico
Mr. Sandomierski is a Geologic Advisor and Petrophysics with 20 years in the energy industry. He
began his career at ExxonMobil where he completed a Professional Carbonate Internship, as well as earned an Expert ratings in Petrophysics and Sequence Stratigraphy. Tony's international experience includes assignments in Nigeria, Angola, Vietnam, Qatar, Kazakhstan and Canada. Tony was recruited by Hilcorp Energy to be their Senior Petrophysicist, working unconventional & conventional reservoirs in Louisiana and Texas. It was at Hilcorp Tony created multiple models for low contrast/low resistivity pay evaluation, as well as thin] -b dded conventional reservoirs as they comprised a significant portion of Hilcorp's development Inventory.
Mr. Sandomierski has consulted for several independent oil companies such as Wyatt Energy and Petroquest. While at Petroquest, he was the Team Lead to identify, develop and implement new fracking technologies. This, combined with designer completion fluids, created to react holistically with the reservoir, resulted in enhanced production and lower costs.
Mr. Teague has been in the Oil and Gas Industry since 1974. He began his career with Pennzoil Producing in their land management department. In 1977, Mr. Teague formed his own company and had as many as 200 land men employed at one time. Mr. Teague's clients included majors such as Exxon, Chevron, Gulf and independents such as El Paso, Anadarko, Carrizo, Chesapeake as well as many others. Mr. Teague has been on the board of directors for the Steeplechase Club of Fort Worth, Bonanza Oil & Gas, United Production, Laguna Oil Partners. He is also an advisor to the Petroleum Club of San Antonio and the Houston & Fort Worth AAPL.
Mrs. Lopez serves as head of administration and accounting. Ms. Lopez has over twenty years of experience with the financial arms of several companies. She has worked in a financial capacity in Tulsa, Oklahoma, San Antonio, Texas and Saint Augustine, Florida with companies such as Business and Financial Consultants, Maverick Energy Group, Ltd, and Watson Energy Investments, LLC. She has served as Vice President of Marketing and Investor Relations and general corporate affairs for both private and public companies.
